Our stance

Bridging two markets takes someone who actually stands in the middle

What slows a Chinese company down in Brazil is rarely the product. It is that nobody translates between two business logics: Chinese speed and process on one side, Brazilian hierarchy, paperwork and personal relationships on the other. We sit on the Brazilian side, work in Portuguese and by Brazilian rules, while understanding the kind of certainty and reporting rhythm a Chinese headquarters needs.

We put relationships before scope. In Brazil, one meeting with a proper introduction beats ten cold e-mails, and a local partner willing to vouch for you moves a project further than a perfect proposal. So we start with a call to understand what you actually need, and only then decide what goes into the quote — not the other way round.

We give precise timelines and then try to beat them. Every deliverable names its weeks and its owner; we would rather quote conservatively than let you lose confidence in Brazil while waiting. We are based in Curitiba, about 90 minutes from the port of Paranaguá, and we can be on site the same day when it matters.

Jean C Becker

Founder · Senior Solutions Architect | AI & Machine Learning Specialist

Jean C Becker founded JBKR in Curitiba in 2006 and has spent two decades delivering more than 100 technology projects for Brazilian companies, among them CAOA Chery — the Brazilian operation of a Chinese automotive brand — Unilever Brazil (OMO and Kibon) and Unimed Paraná. His speciality is turning Brazil’s complex compliance requirements into systems that actually run: electronic invoicing (NF-e), government interfaces, payments, data protection, and AI and automation applied to sales processes. In 2026 he brought the same method to market-entry consulting and founded beonshore: understand the rules first, plan the path second, build last. You talk to him directly, and he stays accountable for the engagement.

All of the roles below are independent licensed professionals. We vet and introduce them; they contract with you directly and invoice you directly. beonshore does not provide legal, accounting, customs, certification or immigration services and takes no commission on their fees; we coordinate the schedule, translate the requirements and review what is delivered.

Technology partner: JBKR

beonshore does not outsource digital delivery. The website, the official WhatsApp channel, the CRM and the integrations with government systems are built directly by JBKR — a company operating in Curitiba since 2006, led by the same founder, and the technology end of beonshore.

JBKR has served CAOA Chery, the Brazilian operation of Chery, Unilever Brazil (OMO and Kibon, five consecutive projects) and Unimed Paraná, the largest healthcare cooperative in the state. It means your Portuguese website, WhatsApp sales channel and NF-e integration are delivered by a team that has been doing exactly this work in Brazil for twenty years, not by a vendor found for the occasion.

Five working principles

Relationships before scope

We understand the problem you are actually solving before we discuss scope. The first call is free and we are in no rush to quote.

Respect hierarchy, give face

Meetings are arranged at the level of your organisation, our team carries Chinese-language business cards, and when face has to be given we handle it.

Fast replies on WeChat

During Chinese working hours WeChat messages are usually answered within the hour, and never later than one business day. You do not wait for Brazil to wake up.

Precise timelines, then beat them

Every deliverable names its weeks and its owner. We would rather quote conservatively than leave you waiting in uncertainty.

A clear boundary

beonshore does consulting and technology only: we identify requirements, plan the path and build the digital side. Legal, accounting, customs and certification work is executed by licensed professionals who contract directly with you.
